Flights affected in Resunga for two weeks

Due to adverse weather conditions at Resunga Airport, flights have been affected for two weeks. After the last flight on June 14, since then the flight has been affected many times due to the weather.

Resunga Airport has a schedule of four regular flights per week. Although there are no flights according to the schedule, one or two weekly flights are being made, but due to the weather, the same flights have also been affected. Resunga Airport station chief Suman Thapa informed that all recent flights have been postponed due to adverse weather conditions. According to him, there is currently a schedule of regular flights on Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays and Saturdays. The fare for Kathmandu-Resunga is 7,500 rupees per passenger and Resunga-Kathmandu is 7,300 rupees.

On Tuesday, there was a schedule for the ship to arrive at Resunga. However, due to Resunga weather, the flight did not take off from Kathmandu. In the previous flight schedule, the flight from Kathmandu could not land at Resunga.

Resunga Airport is covered in fog during the rainy season. Due to the fact that the plane has to land at the airport as far as the naked eye can see, during the rainy season, there are many problems with the plane landing. Twinter aircraft of Nepal Airlines under Nepal Airlines Corporation started regular flight from 2080 Baisakh after a successful test at Resunga airport. The ship is departing Kathmandu-Resunga at 6:30 am and Resunga-Kathmandu at 7:40 am. An initiative was taken for regular flights from Resunga Airport under the leadership of Resunga Municipality.
