Due to rain since Tuesday night, 45 houses have been flooded in Bardghat of West Nawalparasi.
Local Devidatta Poudel said that the settlement north of Bardghat Municipality-10 London Bridge Highway was flooded.
Flooding occurred when rainwater accumulated due to lack of drainage. Although the settlement was flooded, there was no damage. Locals in the flooded area have kept goods and livestock in a safe place.
Due to lack of drainage of the water coming from the north, this area gets flooded when it rains . Bardghat of West Nawalparasi has received 143.4 mm of rain and 100.2 mm of rain in Parasi in the last 12 hours.
