62-year-old Tara Bahadur Karki of Tansen Municipality-10, Telgha Chhetritol has been arrested on the charge of forced labor.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Sunil Malla informed that Karki was arrested on the charge of raping a local 23-year-old girl on 20th January 2080.
On 22 January 2080, the victim's mother filed a complaint at the district police office in Palpa. He was arrested on June 22 while searching for Karki. DSP Malla informed that Karki was arrested from Tansen Municipality-4, Laharepipal area.
His Karki is being further investigated by the Palpa District Court with a 5-day deadline.
