74-year-old Arjun Tharu of Bansgarhi Municipality-7 Haraiya, who was bitten by a domesticated snake in his own house, died. At around 11.30 am on Sunday morning, Tharu was injured when he was hit by a snake while he was cutting grass.
He was sent to Kohalpur Medical College for treatment. During the treatment, Tharu was declared dead by the doctor at 7:30 pm on Sunday evening, Gularia Police Inspector Krishan Dangi said.
