Road traffic has been affected due to slippery road in East Nawalparasi under the East-West Highway. There is a long traffic jam due to the inability of vehicles to move uphill near the Vishwakarma temple in Daune.

There is a queue of vehicles till Dumkibas. Due to the rain that fell last night and this morning, there was a problem of vehicles getting stuck on the muddy road. The police said that now the vehicle is running one-way. Although there is a one-way traffic, it takes three to four hours to cross the lower section.

Even if the road repair work is done by stopping traffic during the night for some time, the problem is not solved, but the passengers are in trouble.
