In Banke, a young man carrying Nepali Army's identity card was arrested by the police with more than 10 grams of the drug brown sugar.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Deepak Patli, Police Spokesperson of the District Police Office, Banke, said that 26-year-old Sanju Ale, who was working in the army and had an identity card from Baijnath Rural Municipality-2, was detained with 10 grams and 620 milligrams of brown sugar.

He also said that an investigation is being conducted on whether the identity card of the arrested person is fake or genuine. Baijnath Rural Municipality's Ale holding an army ID card. The police said that it was taken into custody from the house. 

Narcotics Control Bureau branch office Nepalgunj and area police office Wankatua arrested Sanju on the basis of a special information, District Police Office Banke said.

According to the police, the team deployed on the basis of a special information that drugs were hidden in Sanju's house, during the investigation, they hid inside the drum of sand inside the house  10 grams of 620 milligrams of brown sugar was found. Chief Superintendent of Police Ram Prasad Ghartimagar said that the arrested Ale has been kept at the District Police Office Kohalpur for further investigation and necessary legal procedures.
