Tilottama Municipality of Ruppandehi has published the annual income and expenditure statement for the next financial year 2082/83 equal to 2 billion 92 crore 93 lakh 71 thousand 582 rupees. On Monday, at the seventh session of the Second Municipal Council, Deputy Chief Jageshwar Devi Chaudhary announced the budget for the next financial year.
In the current budget, it is estimated to be 1 billion 294 million 72 thousand i.e. 44.17 percent and 1 billion 63 million 52 million 99 thousand 582 rupees i.e. 55.83 percent for capital. In the
budget statement, Deputy Chief Chaudhary mentioned that the target of getting 330 million rupees from internal revenue and 2.59 billion 93 lakh 71 thousand 582 rupees from intergovernmental financial transfers and savings has been taken as the source of the budget.
160 million 31 lakh 49 thousand 582 rupees more than the current financial year. The budget for the current financial year was 2 billion 76 crore 62 lakh 22 thousand rupees. Deputy Chief Choudhary said that education, health, agriculture and infrastructure have been emphasized in the budget.
In education, she said that the necessary budget has been arranged to make the announcement program meaningful for the vocational and physical infrastructure of the community schools and the vocational reform year for teaching and learning achievement.
Vocational improvement program in Tilotta, digital smart board in secondary school, various creative programs reading-earning program, false ceiling scheme for schools with tin roofs, Balmaitri Nagar, reasonable budget has been arranged for innovation program.
Mentioning the allocation of 9942 million 5252 thousand 582 in the social development sector, Choudhary said that the budget has been allocated for important schemes including Anandavan Nagar Hospital, Semrabazar Health Chowki Maternal Hospital, air-conditioned vaccination center, health insurance for the disabled and the poor, pregnant nutrition program to provide easy facilities to the citizens in health.
Similarly, in the economic development sector, 60.9 million 50 thousand has been allocated, the budget has been arranged for collective farming, Chaklabandi farming, incentive program for chaite rice, pocket area development program, transfer of technology for mechanization and commercialization of agricultural enterprises and entrepreneurs to create a self-sufficient municipality in agriculture. Deputy Chief Chaudhary said that Rs 70 lakh has been allocated for the subsidy of Rs 2 per liter in milk.
She said that the necessary budget has been allocated for the announcement of youth-friendly local government and the organization of various kinds of sports and the construction of sports infrastructure, and the budget has also been allocated to provide money for risk insurance for the players. In the
budget, it is mentioned that 51 crore 73 lakh 58 thousand has been allocated for good governance and inter-related areas. In addition, she said that the necessary budget has been proposed to be addressed from the emergency infrastructure fund for the development of essential physical infrastructure and other development-related works in case of emergencies within the urban area.
Apart from these, Chowdhury said that necessary arrangements have been made to modernize the Tilottma Information Center emergency operation center for the physical infrastructure, environment and disaster management.
The fourth meeting will be held on June 20 to discuss the proposed budget and financial law.
