Butwal sub-metropolitan city has brought an annual policy and program for the coming financial year 2082/83 with the aim of giving special emphasis on manpower production. On Thursday, Mayor Khelraj Pandey, while presenting policies and programs, said that special emphasis was placed on skills and employment.

He said that a policy has been prepared to invest enough in Butwal to create manpower with skills and jobs. He also said that in order to make Butwal a tourist resting place, a policy has been taken to establish it as a resting place for Buddhists coming to Lumbini and Hindus going to Muktinath.

It is mentioned in the policy and program that the subsidy provided to the Blood Transfusion Center will be continued to eliminate the cost of blood and blood products needed during the treatment of Butwal residents. 

Emphasis will be placed on the establishment of a production and sales center (Koseli Ghar) of products produced under the City Chief Housewives' Employment Program to connect the housewives of Butwal with employment and make them self-employed. A policy will be taken to use the material produced in that way as a symbol of the city.

A policy will be taken to unite housewives and lead them in economic acquisition through skills and business. Under the Housewives Women's Employment Program, the policy of formation of toll, ward and city level network and skill and employment council will be taken. 

Yogikuti to Chidiakhola, Ramnagar to Tamnagar, Belbas-Bethari road, Tamnagar-Suddhodhan road will be beautified as bright and green roads.

Under the campaign 'Ghumaun Butwal', a campaign will be conducted to increase the arrival of domestic and foreign tourists by declaring this financial year as the year of Butwal tourism, while digital displays and promotional materials will be created at necessary places to widen the identity of the tourist spot.

To establish Butwal as a tourist resting place, travel from Butwal to tourist places like Muktinath, Lumbini, Banke-Bardia National Park, Supadeurali, Resunga, Palpa, Chitwan, Triveni, Riddy, Bhairavasthan, Ranimehal, Alamdevi, Setiveni and necessary campaigns for the promotion of Butwal-Chitwan-Pokhara triangular tourism will be conducted.

Important tourist places of Butwal Jitgarhi Fort, War Museum, Old Butwal area, Manimukundasen Udyan, Hillpark, Milanpark, Peace Park, Siddhababadham, Muktinathdham, Nilakanthababadham, Narainapurdham, Baitaulia Lake, Waterpark, Tharu Museum, Bhairav ​​Park, Panini Park, Lakshmi Park and other historical, religious and cultural tourist spots need to attract domestic and foreign tourists. will be conducted.
