Seema Sunar and Sushmita Mahat have won the 'Isma Talent Identification-2082' conducted by Isma Rural Municipality.
After going through the first stage and semi-final stage at the ward level, two people became the 'Isma Talent Recognition-2082' after beating more than 250 competitors.
In the final round of talent identification held on Monday, Seema Sunar of 'Isma Gayan Pratibha-2082' Ward No. 2 and Sushmita Mahat of 'Isma Nritya Pratibha-2082' Ward No. 3 succeeded in the final stage of the talent identification held on Monday. 15 people presented in the final stage. Out of which 3 were towards singing and 12 towards dancing. 13 presentations including one group were presented in the program.
The two winners in singing and dancing have received a prize of Rs. 25,000 each. The rural municipality has organized a program for the semi-finals in May and the finals in June through the ward level from May. Out of which more than 250 people participated in the first phase at ward level. 70 of them entered the semi-finals. Then 13 presentations of 15 people entered the final stage.
The rural municipality has developed this program to bring out the hidden talent in the village. In which all kinds of genres participated. Priority was given to folk singing and dancing.
Isma Rural Municipality Vice President Advocate Parvati Kunwar said that the program was organized to bring out the talents within Isma Rural Municipality in addition to raising art and culture. "It is our responsibility to give proper opportunities to talented people," she said.
