The Ninth District Convention of Nepal Civil Servants Union Palpa has unanimously elected Omprakash Neupane as the President.

Leelamani Basyal, Jeevan Rana, Rima Acharya, Giriraj Ghimire, Chandra Bahadur Wali have been elected as central representatives. Election Officer Shivprasad Devkota informed that Poonam Dhital, Tikaram Basyal, Maniraj Adhikari, Tulsiram Kafle, Hariprasad Parajuli were selected as state representatives. 

Union has honored retired employees Bhaktisara Rana, Mahesh Pandey, Indira Bhattarai, Chura Bahadur Godar on the occasion of the convention. Ravi Aryal, the outgoing president of the union, has been given farewell and respect as he has been transferred from Palpa. Inaugurating the

session, Lumbini Provincial Assembly member and former minister Bir Bahadur Rana emphasized that the disappointment of common citizens is from political parties and employees, and they should be honest in providing services. Uttam Kumar Katuwal, Central Acting President of the Civil Service Union, said that employees will play an important role in changing the hope of the citizens. 

Union Central Deputy General Secretary Indu Sharma, Congress district member Purushottam Aryal, Nepali Congress BP Chintan Foundation President Sandeep Rana, Union Lumbini State President Vamdev Sharma, Union central members Hari Gyawali, Sunil Lamichhane, Union Rupandehi Chakrapani Pandey, Union Palpa outgoing president Ravi Aryal, Nepal Civil Service Organization Palpa President Bhoj Bahadur Rana Others said that even though the State Order and Good Governance Committee had passed the Federal Civil Service Act, the implementation of federalism and the implementation of state and local service laws had been delayed.
