One person has died due to beating in Bardia. 55-year-old Dhukkur Raut of Madhuvan Municipality-1 Pattharbozhi died.

Last Sunday at 11 am, 35-year-old Krishna Ramji Yadav of Gulria Municipality-7 hit Raut on the head with a stick and injured him. Yadav hit a stick when there was a dispute after Yadav's buffalo damaged the crops of Raut's farm.

Raut, who was injured due to head injury, was sent to a nursing home in Banke for treatment. During the treatment, Raut was declared dead by the doctor at 3.30 pm on Thursday, informed Krishna Dangi, Police Inspector of District Police Office, Gularia.

Police inspector Dangi said that Yadav, who threw the stick, was detained by the police and further investigation is underway.
