An Indian vehicle with artificial sex toys worth more than 24 lakh rupees, which was going to be illegally transported from Nepal to India through the Bhairahawa crossing, has been seized by the police.
Rupandehi police have seized 1,369 artificial sex toys from Kathmandu via Sunauli to India in an Indian vehicle numbered UK 18 CA 2575 near the Bhairahawa Customs Checkpoint from the bypass under the Bhairahawa-Parasi postal road section.
Along with the artificial toys and the vehicle, the police also detained the driver and helper, 45-year-old Nasib Ahmed Radesh of Rampur police station in Bijnor district of Uttar Pradesh, and Debender Kumar Singh, 26, a resident of Purwa village Mangat Khada police station in Kannauu district of Uttar Pradesh, India.
DSP Ganesh Sapkota of District Police Office Rupandehi said that the police team deputed from the District Police Office arrested the goods when they were trying to take them illegally to India without a bill of lading.
According to him, the price of the artificial sex toys that were arrested is 24 lakh 45 thousand rupees. DSP Sapkota said that all the arrested goods, trucks and persons including the driver have been sent to Revenue Investigation Office Butwal for further investigation.
