A young woman was found dead in a burning condition in Sammarimai Rural Municipality of Rupandehi.
Deputy Superintendent of Police of District Police Office Rupandehi Ganesh Sapkota informed that 22-year-old Srijana Pal was found burnt in Marchawar area of Ward-5 of the municipality on Sunday morning. According to him, the neighbor informed the police after seeing the fire in the field at 1:40 am. Locals said that Pal's body was found in Muslo.
After receiving the news that a building was burnt at a distance of about 1 km from his house, the team of District Police Office Rupandehi reached the place at 2 am and started the investigation. He said that the locals including her husband and family members have been called for questioning and that they are investigating her death.
