Illegal Chiran wood of Sal species has been seized by the police. Chiran wood, which was kept at Gularia Municipality-3 Mankamana Toll, was seized by the police on Thursday afternoon.
According to the police, the approximate market value of 81.15 cubic feet of unstitched chiran wood is 365,175 rupees. DSP Chakra Bahadur Damarpal of District Police Office Gularia informed that the wood was handed over to Division Forest Office Gularia.
