After 15 years, the police have arrested the fugitive in the duty murder case. 36-year-old Jagatram Tharu of Baghaiyatal rural municipality-9 Juktinagar was arrested by the police.

Tharu was arrested from Geruwa Rural Municipality-5 Pashupatinagar by the police team led by Inspector Rajeshkumar Teli of District Police Mainapokhar.

27-year-old Tilku Tharu of Badhaiyatal-9 was beaten and seriously injured by Jagatram and escaped. Tilku died on February 4, 2067 during treatment at Bheri Hospital in Banke.

DSP Chakra Bahadur Damarpal informed that Jagatram, who was arrested while hiding in Pashupatinagar, was kept in the area police office Mainapokhar after receiving a 5-day deadline from the court.
