Gopal Gyawali, vice president of Buddha Television Butwal, has been elected as the president of National Television Broadcasters Association Lumbini.
The convention held in Lumbini on Sunday elected Arjunraj Upadhyay as vice president, Santosh Basyal as secretary, RK Sittal as treasurer, Thaneshwar Ghimire as joint secretary. Similarly, the members include Jeevan Adhikari, Pomnarayan Paudel, Shri Rayamazhi, Rita KC and Sangeeta Bhandari. The
association also held a National Workshop of Televisions in Lumbini on Saturday and Sunday. The conference has concluded to collaborate with televisions across the country and move forward by uniting with regard to television problems. Lumbini Chief Minister Chetnarayan Acharya while inaugurating the workshop and convention on Saturday said that the media has to fulfill an important responsibility to spread the importance of Lumbini internationally. The
workshop was attended by the former chief minister of Lumbini province, current ministers, federal parliamentarians, state parliamentarians, and television operators from all over the country. Newly elected president Gyawali said that he will move forward by cooperating with everyone for the promotion of televisions.
