The police have seized sesame wood which was being transported illegally. Sesame type pellet wood was seized by the police from Deudakala, Bansgarhi Municipality-7 while it was being loaded on a tractor. The police seized the wood because it did not have the necessary documents.
According to the police, the value of 9 rounds of sesame wood, 86.83 cubic feet, loaded in tractor No. 1, 7730 driven by 21-year-old Pritam Kumar Tharu of Bansgadhi Municipality-7, Motipur, is equal to 54,300. DSP Chakra Bahadur Damarpal of District Police Office Gularia informed that the driver along with the tractor and wood were taken into custody and handed over to Sub Division Forest Office Bansgarhi for necessary action.
