Two absconding accused of theft arrested

The police have arrested two people who were absconding for theft-related offences. Two people were arrested by the police on Tuesday while they were hiding. Those arrested are 27-year-old Kesh Bahadur Shahi of Gularia Municipality-6 and 22-year-old Bhupendra Kshetri of Village No. 5 of Madhuwan Municipality-8.

The district court sentenced Shahi to 20 days imprisonment, a fine of 3,000 rupees and 200 rupees to be deposited in the relief fund on 5 November 2081, while in the theft case on 16 May 2081, the court sentenced Chhetri to 10 days imprisonment, a fine of 2,000 rupees and 200 rupees to be deposited in the relief fund. 

Police Inspector Krishna Dangi of District Police Office Gularia informed that both of them have been taken into custody and filed in the court for necessary action.
