One person has been arrested from Satyavati of Palpa on the charge of forced labor. 32-year-old Shiv Bahadur Ghimire, resident of Rainadevi Chhahara Rural Municipality-8, Khursane, was arrested by the police.

According to Sunil Malla, Deputy Superintendent of Police, District Police Office, Palpa, Ghimire was found to have raped a 12-year-old girl and forced her into the room of his house. The police said that the district court in Palpa has extended the deadline and detained them for further investigation.
