Three months of English language learning classes at the Children's Correctional Home

A three-month English language learning class has been conducted for children involved in legal disputes. Rights organization Advocacy Forum Nepal in collaboration with Child Correctional Home Naubasta, Banke has conducted classes for 40 children who are involved in legal disputes.

The Assistant Chief District Officer of Banke, Khadananda Khatri, stated that the English language class will help in improving the educational level of the children and urged the children to take full advantage of the training in order to put it into practice. Advocate Basant Gautam, Lumbini Province Coordinator of

Advocacy Forum, said that the English class was conducted with the aim of helping the children to improve their educational level and make a career and help them in their rehabilitation in the society after they are freed from prison.

The children who are learning English Asha thanked the Advocacy Forum for conducting the training stating that the training will be very fruitful for them. 

English subject teacher Bir Bahadur Chaudhary will conduct classes at the rate of one hour daily for three months at the Balsudhar Home.
