One person who was injured in the accident has died. 40-year-old Ranngilal Tharu of Gularia Municipality-1 died on Sunday morning.

According to local residents, Tharu was hit by a motorcycle at 8 o'clock on Saturday night on the Gulria Rajapur road section of Gulria Municipality-1. The injured returned home after general treatment at the local medical center in Tharu. 

DSP Chakra Bahadur Damarpal of the District Police Office said that the police took the injured Tharu to Bardia Hospital for treatment on Sunday morning. "During the treatment, the doctor declared Tharu dead at 7 am," he said. On Sunday afternoon, the relatives of the deceased placed the bodies on the road and demonstrated to search for the motorcycle that hit them and demand justice for the victims.
