The earthquake raised the house, it was raised by the chatter

The earthquake shook the house to the extent that it was uninhabitable. Two buffaloes along with a lino died when the shed collapsed. Hariprasad Ghimire of Dhurkot Rural Municipality-7, Wagla Khargeta, remembers the earthquake of 072.

The earthquake that occurred on 12th Baisakh, 072 not only damaged the house and buffalo, but displaced the Ghimire family from the village. Ghimire's house was not included in the first phase of earthquake-affected reconstruction. Ghimire had no financial condition to build a household and buy a buffalo and return to his old position. Then the couple was forced to leave the village with their two sons.

Before 071, the work learned in Bhairahawa came as a long-term profession in Hariprasad's life. Hariprasad and his wife Bharata Ghimire started a chatpat business under the name 'Ghimire Chatpat' in Tamghas, Gulmi headquarters. The Ghimire couple who entered the headquarters Tamghas on November 12, 2007, started business from the very beginning. After getting good earnings in Chatpata, in the initial stage, the business was done in one place and then started doing it from two places.

Hari Prasad reached 50 years of age. Bharata turned 45 years old. From 11 am to 7 pm, they sit at the square leading to Chidichour Khanigaon in Tamghas and do brisk business. Dainik Hariprasad sells 2,000 rupees and Bharata sells 1,500 rupees worth of chatpata. Hariprasad said that 35 percent of the income will be from this.

Hari Prasad says that they came to Tamghas with 20,000 rupees and started their business with a quick business that can be started with a small investment. "After the earthquake hit us, we quickly chose business," he said, "this business is satisfactory for us."

Hariprasad had a loan of 3 lakhs. He went to Qatar for foreign employment in 2071. The company had to return within 15 months after it did not do well. The loan at that time, the loan of 300,000 for rebuilding the house and the loan of 20,000 for coming to Tamghas were paid through business.

Although the house was not included in the earthquake reconstruction for the first time, he said that after it was selected, 300,000 help was received and he added 300,000 to build a house in the village. One son is out for foreign employment after completing his secondary education. Another son is studying civil engineering in class 12.

Ghimire couple lives in Tamghas Milanchowk. After the Resunga Municipality has assigned a location to the sidewalk traders, they sit and do business at the intersection leading to Chidichaur Khanigaon. Hariprasad said that if you sell quickly, it will sell quickly and easily. "There is no other problem like that in quick business," he said, "customers have to wait, it's not as easy as Duldah."

Before the lockdown due to the corona epidemic, the Ghimire couple has the experience of earning better income from chatpata. After that, the business gradually declined. Because of this, the income is also decreasing. But they are satisfied. "The business is gradually decreasing, the hustle and bustle is decreasing," Hariprasad said, "We are satisfied, the business we have chosen is happy." "We have done the same business together," Bharata said, "even if the earnings are small, we are satisfied."

The environment to forget the injury caused by the earthquake has also been given by brisk business. At that time, the earthquake destroyed the village, but now the couple is settled in Chatpata. They say that they have done business with patience even in difficult situations, which has resulted in success.
