4 people were injured in a leopard attack in Pratappur Rural Municipality-6 Guthiprasauni of West Nawalparasi.

Initially, Raghuveer Kewat, who was working in the field, was attacked by a leopard.  After witnessing the incident, the locals chased away the leopard with a commotion. The police said that three more locals were also attacked by the leopard while fleeing.

Kevat's head, back and hand are injured. Other Prem Koiri of Pratappur-6, Umalal Koiri and Mohammad Mia of Susta rural municipality-5 are being treated at the private clinic at the headquarters.

The forest office has informed that the search for the leopard that entered the settlement and attacked the people is going on.
