Before taking him to the court, the security arrangements at the headquarters Bhairahawa have been tightened . Nepal Police and Armed Police are stationed on the way to the court from the district police and around the court premises.
District Police Spokesperson DSP Suraj Karki said that Lamichhane will be produced in the District Court as soon as the High Court receives the order.
He was arrested in Kathmandu on Friday night and was brought to Bhairahawa on Saturday morning. After leaving for two days, he has been kept in the custody of District Police Office, Rupandehi.
The police arrested Lamichhane after the High Court Tulsipur Butwal bench ordered him to be detained on Friday in the Supreme Cooperative Fraud and Organized Crime case of Butwal.
