A person who had gone fishing in Hungi, Rambha rural municipality-1 of Palpa was found dead in Kaligandaki river on Friday. Police Inspector of District Police Office Palpa Sandeep Belbase informed that 52-year-old Sanjay Bote of Aserdi in Hungi was found dead in the river.
According to his relatives, Bote left home to go fishing in the Kaligandaki river at Bismude Ghat in Hungi on Thursday. Bote, who left home on Thursday, was found dead in Kaligandaki river on Friday, the police said.
The team assigned for the investigation under the command of the police inspector of the area police office Rampur has conducted a preliminary investigation. The dead Bote's body has been sent to Rampur Hospital for post-mortem.
