Chief Minister of Lumbini Province Chetnarayan Acharya has given instructions to reduce the size of the budget for the next financial year. He said that when the provincial government prepares a deficit budget every year, the development and construction of the government are affected.
Addressing the meeting held in Deukhuri on Tuesday of the Provincial Development Problem Solving Committee, Chief Minister Acharya urged every ministry to include plans in a way that appeals to the people while making policies and programs and budgets. Next year's budget will not have a deficit budget. The budget will be around 32/33 billion," he said. "The budget should be made standing on the real ground. The government will move forward by being responsible for making the provincial government move in rhythm.
He also directed that the people's favorite plan should be included in the budget and to do homework for that. It is necessary to come up with plans that will instill hope in the people, not despair. It is necessary to include the desired plans," he said. "After the establishment of the province, it is necessary to move the plan forward by comparing what was the situation before and what is the current situation." In the
meeting, Physical Infrastructure Development Minister Bhumishwar Dhakal said that the trend of people coming to ask for plans should be stopped and the system should be made agile.
