Two people drowned in the river Jhimruk while swimming and died during treatment. Police Inspector Bishnu Prasad Paudel said that 17-year-old Ashok Nepali and 19-year-old Dilip Nepali of Bhumikasthan Municipality-10 Dhanchauri Deurali Net died.
When they drowned while swimming in the Jhimruk river of the same ward on Saturday, the locals informed the police and rescued them.
Paudel said that they were unconscious and died during treatment at Arghakhanchi Hospital. Ashok and Dilip jumped into a deep place to swim in the river Jhimruk, which is connected to the border of Pyuthan.
