A four-year-old boy was injured by a leopard attack while playing in the yard in Gamakka, Madhuvan Municipality-4.
The police said that Shivam Tharu was injured when the leopard attacked him around 6 pm on Saturday. The injured Tharu was referred to Nepalgunj after receiving first aid at the district hospital. Arif Hasmi, a doctor at Bardia Hospital, said that his neck, nose, ears and bones were seriously injured.
Mother Anita said that after the leopard took away Shivam, he threw him into the bush while shouting and ran away. Soon the villagers came and rescued him and took him to the hospital.
