Aneraswaviyu revolutionist has won the post of president of the independent student union in Palpa's Tribhuvan Multipurpose Campus Tansen, which was established before the establishment of Tribhuvan University.
Milan Ghartimagar of All Revolutionaries was victorious in the counting of votes held on Wednesday. He got 390 out of 1228 votes cast. Nirwachan Officer Jeevan Bahadur Thapa informed that his closest opponent Krishna Aryal of Nepal Vidyarthi Sangh got 342 votes.
Similarly, Sushil Basyal of the Nepal Students' Association was elected as the secretary after receiving 517 votes. His nearest rival Bipin Pangeni of Akhil Krantikari got 332 votes.
Misma Rana of Nepal Vidyarthi Sangh got 416 votes while her closest rival Gangadevi Bahrghare got 345 votes for the treasurer. Among the members, Aashika Vishwakarma of Navy Sangh got 390 votes, Jyoti Darlami got 426, Toran Raskoti got 387, Navin Thapa got 398, Babita Thapa got 405, Sujal Bhatrai got 452 and Akhil Krantikari got 360 votes.
1 thousand 228 votes were cast in the voting for Swaviyu at Tribhuvan Multipurpose Campus Tansen. Total electorate students were 1 thousand 894.
The counting of votes has been postponed at the Shahid Multiple Campus in Rampur municipality. 571 votes were cast in the campus with 713 voters. In which 97 votes were yet to be counted, when a dispute arose, the police had to fire in the air.
