The police have arrested three youths on suspicion of selling the drug brown heroin. Based on the information that he was involved in the business of brown heroin, the police himself went to the young man posing as a fake buyer.

Narcotics Control Bureau Branch Office Bhairahawa and District Police Office Rupandehi arrested three people from Bank Colony located in Siddharthnagar Municipality-8 with 250 grams of brown heroin. 

According to Suraj Karki, DSP and Information Officer of District Police Office Rupandehi, those arrested are 24-year-old Vivek Pandey, 23-year-old Swatantra Upadhyay and 18-year-old Amjad Khan of Mayadevi Rural Municipality-3 of Kapilvastu. The brown heroin recovered from them has been sent to the National Forensic Science Laboratory branch office at Butwal for testing.
