A free health camp has been conducted by the Batuk Dal Gana of the Nepali Army based in Rolpa in the village of Gam in East Rolpa, a remote area of the district.
The camp was completed on February 24 at the primary health post of Pari village in Sunchahari Rural Municipality-3, which is considered critical.
The camp was organized in coordination with the leadership of the 19th Bahini base of the army and the Batuk Dal Gana and Field Ambulance Gulm under the 19th Bahini, said Ganpati chief of the Batuk Dal, Bike Singh Vishwakarma. According to him, 245 local people including 165 women and 80 men have benefited from the health camp. In the
camp, apart from examining patients, drug distribution, lab services and ECG services were provided.
In that camp, health examination and health services were provided by 2 doctors of the Nepali Army and health workers of the health post in the village. Rathi Padam Bahadur Budha Magar, Assistant Army Commander of No. 19 Bahini Base at Dang Tulsipur, was present to meet the local common people who are in remote areas and to understand the problem.
Ganapathy Vishwakarma said that free camps were also conducted in Thawang earlier. In addition to conducting health camps in the remote areas of Rolpa under the Army with People program, the army has also been helping in areas such as educational activities, water supply services, road construction, etc. .
