Thakurbaba Municipality- 1 Police have arrested two people for being involved in the murder of a 51-year-old woman. 51-year-old Radha Bohora was murdered on February 4.

69-year-old Shanta Bahadur Khatri and his daughter-in-law, 24-year-old Uma Kumari Khatri, who are relatives of the same place, have been arrested on the charge of murdering Bohora, said DSP Rishiram Ghartimar, information officer of District Police Office, Bardia. He said that both the arrested persons are being investigated by the district court after extension of the deadline.

Inside the house, the body was found tied to the post of the house, tied around the neck with a cloth like a shawl. But outside the house, the door was locked.  

According to DSP Ghartimar, the bohora, who had come to do normal business, was living alone at home. After he was not seen since February 2, the locals informed the police. After police and locals searched, his body was found when they entered the house by breaking the lock in the afternoon.
