One person died when an auto rickshaw hit a motorcycle going to Bankatti from Bhurigaon in Bagnaha, Thakurbaba Municipality-3. One person was seriously injured in the accident.

Superintendent of Police Kedar Khanal said that 60-year-old Darwariya Tharu, who was riding in the motorcycle of Bhe 12 P 1108, driven by Makkhuram Tharu, about 60 years old of Bankatti, died.

Makkhuram, the seriously injured driver, was taken to Nepalgunj Teaching Hospital for treatment, he said. The police said that the driver of the hit car number 1 S 8632, Dhaniram Tharu, 47 years old from Thakurbaba-2 Tingharua, has been arrested.
