General Secretary of Nepal Communist Party (UML) Shankar Pokharel has said that everyone should encourage people who contribute to the country.

He said that Srimani Acharya has contributed to the country and the people at the foundation laying ceremony of Shrimani Acharya Memorial Park today in Tulsipur Sub-metropolitan City-11 Maledanda of Dang. He said that when spending in any place, it should be spent in such a way that it will be achieved. 

Pokharel asked to pay attention to such things while building physical infrastructure. He also clarified that the cooperation of all three levels of government is necessary in such works. As the role of the local community is important in every development work, Pokharel said that how to utilize the structures that have been built depends on the role of the local community. 

Pokharel said that if the local community does not use it properly, no matter how much the government spends, it will not be effective. Pokharel opined that Shrimani Acharya's name is alive with his own work. He said that it is a pleasure to have a memorial park built in his honor. Srimani Acharya worked day and night to lead the party in Dang's communist movement. He died on January 3, 2064.
