The police have arrested two people on the charge of a murder 20 years ago. District Police Office Bardia has arrested 78-year-old Kumbhanarayan Mahato Tharu of Navalparasi Kawasoti Municipality-15 and 45-year-old Raju Tharu alias Ram Narayan Mahato of the same place.

 On June 15, 2060, a Bandhu Tharu named Bandhuram Tharu of Manpur Tapra Gavis-7, Sadwa Village, Rajapur Municipality-8, was strangled. 

District Police Office Bardia DSP Rishi Ram Ghartimagar said that two people have been arrested from Nawalparasi on charges of fratricide. The police have extended the deadline of 5 days from the Bardia court and started further investigation on both the arrested persons .
