It was found that some of the doctors working in the OPD were outside the working room during the inspection of Bheri Hospital. On Saturday, it was found that some employees including doctors were outside the working room during monitoring.
Assistant Chief District Officer Khadananda Khatri informed that the attendance of employees was not updated, employees did not attend for a long time, duty schedules of employees were not provided, they were absent from the work room for a long time on the basis of lunch time, they were not managing the crowd of customers, and they were not present on duty on time.
During the monitoring, the monitoring team said that even the staff working in the emergency ward of the hospital were not present during their duty hours, records were not kept when they went out of the office, and some of the staff went out voluntarily without informing the in-charges of the respective departments and wards. Assistant Prajia Khatri said that after many shortcomings were found during the monitoring, the team gave instructions to update the attendance of the employees, to attend on time, to determine the duty schedule, to make arrangements to go to lunch only in shifts so as not to affect the service flow.
Advocate Basant Gautam, who is also the president of Banke's Consumer Protection Forum, said that as consumers have the right to get quality goods and services, the citizens should have easy access and quality in the delivery of hospital services.
According to Gautam, the monitoring team instructed the head of the office, the in-charge of the respective ward to provide the duty list of the employee to the district administration office, to prevent the entry of middlemen in the hospital, to prevent the entry of middlemen in the hospital, to inspect the in-charge of the respective ward, and to prevent the entry of middlemen into the hospital during duty hours.
