Lumbini Province is celebrating its foundation day today. Rekha Kandel, member secretary of the main ceremony committee of the foundation day, informed that the foundation day will be celebrated in a formal program in Deukhuri, the permanent capital of the province, Rapti Valley.
According to him A public holiday has also been given in the province on the occasion of the Foundation Day.
Since the state assembly was established in Lumbini on January 21, the same day is celebrated as state establishment day.
