A 14-year-old boy who went to the forest to cut grass in Banke's Kohalpur died due to electrocution. Sandeep Aryal, a 14-year-old boy of Kohalpur Municipality-12, died due to electrocution while cutting grass.

The police said that Sandeep, who had climbed a safflower tree to cut grass, was electrocuted when he touched the high-tension line of electricity. 

Deputy Superintendent of Police Dharmaraj Bhandari, Head of District Police Office Kohalpur, said that boy Sandeep was electrocuted while cutting grass in Raksha Intermediate Community Forest located in Kohalpur Municipality-12.

Sandeep, who fell down on the ground after being electrocuted, was taken to Nepalgunj Medical College Teaching Hospital, Kohalpur for treatment. He died during treatment.
