Ravi Lamichhane, Chairman of RSVP and Former Managing Director of Gorkha Media Network, will be present at District Court Rupandehi on Wednesday. A case involving 100.99 million bigos was filed against him in the court on Sunday for defrauding the funds of the Supreme Credit and Savings Cooperative Society and organized crime. Lamichhane Bhairahawa has come to defend the same case.

Lamichhane arrived in Bhairahawa by ship on Tuesday to appear in court on Wednesday.

According to RSVP sources, his associates Deepak Bohra and Pramod Neupane reached Ruppandehi on Tuesday through Chitwan by road. Lamichhane landed at Bhairahawa Airport at 4:30 pm on Tuesday. Lamichhane is preparing to finish the debate on Wednesday by keeping as few lawyers as possible. 

Shrestedar Yagyamurthy Gyawali of the district court said that there is no information about whether he will be present during the office hours on Tuesday and if he was present at the office before the time of the shooting on Wednesday, the process can start on the same day . "He is on the list of fugitives, so the court does not know about it," he said, "if he is present at the office before the time of shooting, the process can start on the same day." A supplementary case was filed against 22 people including Ravi Lamichhane, Chavi Lal Joshi for the crime of cooperative fraud and organized crime. 55 crore 59 lakh 83 thousand rupees has been claimed against 22 people. A personal fine of Rs 2 crore has been imposed against Lamichhane. A case has been registered against 42 people including Gitendrababu Rai and 22 of the supplementary prosecution regarding the misappropriation of funds of Supreme Cooperative.
