Air service at Nepalgunj airport has been affected since this morning due to low visibility due to heavy rain.

Ringi Mallik, Traffic Controller of Civil Aviation Office, Nepalgunj, said that due to the cold wave and storm since morning, all flights from Nepalgunj Airport have been stopped due to the visibility of only 50 meters. 

He said that due to the lack of visibility required for air flights, flights could not take place at the airport today  She gave information. According to Traffic Controller Mallik, there are more than 50 daily flights from Nepalgunj Airport to Pahari District, Federal Capital Kathmandu, Dhangadhi and Pokhara.

According to him, there should be 1,000 visibility to fly the ship and 1,600 visibility to land the ship. required . Passengers going to travel to Kathmandu and hill districts are waiting at the airport due to the suspension of flights from Nepalgunj airport. The cold wave has affected the life of this region .
