Two youths who went to the fair in Thakurbaba Municipality-9 were injured by an unknown group using sharp weapons. According to the police, the incident took place at Tiger Chowk near Thakur Baba Temple at around 12 o'clock on Monday night.
Naveen Tharu and Sajan Tharu, aged around 20 years, of Geruwa Rural Municipality-5 were injured by sharp weapons, said Information Officer and DSP Rishiram Gharti Magar of District Police Office, Bardia.
He said that both the injured are being treated at a teaching hospital in Banke Kohalpur. According to the police, their condition is normal. DSP Gharti Magar said that the investigation is underway as to who used the sharp weapon and why.
