Agriculture, tourism, industry and trade will be conducted in the 6th Arghakhanchi Agriculture and Tourism and Industrial Festival - 2081 Sandhikhar with the main slogan of using local products as the basis of employment.
The festival, which will be held from December 29 at Kundulephant in Sandhikhark, will last until January 12. In the
festival, the traditional art, culture and cymbals of six local levels of the district will be displayed and the main objective is to promote the trade of local products, said Pradeep Mishra, president of the organizing industry and commerce association. He also said that industrial trade, domestic, agricultural and district tourism will be promoted.
A tourist video prepared by the Federation about the tourist spots of Vadaipichhe will be displayed at the stall of the fair. More than 300 stalls will be kept and 50% discount on the stalls for local agriculture and dairy products of the district, said Santosh Basnet, Secretary of UWASangh.
'Tourist places of the district will be widely promoted,' he said, 'We have requested all agricultural workers, cooperatives, farmer groups to put oranges, vegetables, dairy products, spice products, food items, honey etc. produced in the village in all the stalls. We give priority to art with costumes of different local castes.
Festival aims to be watched by about 1 lakh spectators and to generate financial transactions of 50 million rupees.
