Representing Press Chowtari Nepal Dang, Acharya while addressing a program held in Ghorahi on Friday to honor the newly elected officers of the Federation of Nepalese Journalists, expressed the opinion that journalists should work responsibly towards the society. Pointing out the need for
decent and professional journalism, Acharya expressed his concern that some distortions and inconsistencies have entered. He said that the provincial government has started the process of revising the Communication Act as a priority for strengthening the communication sector. He said that the government plans to solve the problems seen in the media sector by amending the
Communication Act.
