The police have arrested 2 people on the charge of brutally killing 5 chicks including a Maui dog on the pretext of killing chickens. Those arrested are 33-year-old Rajkumar Saru Magar and 28-year-old Amankumar Chidimagar of Susta rural municipality-5 Belwani in Nawalparasi.

According to the police, Rajkumar killed the dog and Aman took a video of it.

According to DSP Resham Bohora of District Police Office Paschim Nawalparasi, they brutally killed a dog and put it on social media and it went viral.

"Rajkumar, among them who were caught, said that the dog had bitten a man in the village and that he had killed the dog because he was angry that the chicken had been bitten by a chicken some time ago," DSP Bohora said.

According to the police, they have been given an extension of 7 days by the court on the charge of violating the crime related to animals and birds of the Civil Crime Code.
