Two absconding defendants in the killing industry and drug cases have been arrested. A juvenile from Geruwa Rural Municipality-5, who was sentenced to 22 days imprisonment by the decision of the district court on 31st Baisakh, was arrested by the police while he was hiding in Gularia Municipality-6.

Naresh Khaptari, 37, of Banke Baijnath Rural Municipality-3, Bankkhet, who was on the run after being sentenced and fined in a drug case, was arrested by the police.

On 30th Baisakh, the district court decided to sentence Khaptari to 1 month and 17 days imprisonment, fine of 4000 rupees and 200 rupees to be deposited in the victim's relief fund.

The police said that both the arrested have been brought to the district court for necessary action.
