The police have arrested two defendants who absconded after being fined by the district court in the dishonor of part and check cases.
According to the police, 66-year-old Mahini Tharu of Gulria Municipality-4, who was absconding after being fined 8,916 rupees in a court case on 30th August 2080, has been arrested.
Similarly, the police have arrested 50-year-old Dayaram Yadav of Gulria-11 Lalpur, who was absconding after being fined 500 rupees in the check dishonor case by the district court's decision.
District Police Office Information Officer and DSP Rishiram Gharti Magar said that the arrested Tharu and Yadav have been filed in the district court for necessary action.
He said that both of them were arrested while hiding in their own house.
