On Friday, 22 passengers were injured in a vehicle accident at Alkatre Hill in Sunwal Municipality-7 of West Nawalparasi under the East-West Highway.
The accident took place when a microbus numbered Lu 1K 9467 and a truck numbered Sudurpaschim Pradesh 01-001K 2442, which were going from Bardghat to Butwal, collided with each other. The police said that after hitting the cyclist, the microbus collided with the truck which was out of control.
6 of the injured are serious and have been taken to Valuhi Valuhi Medical College in Rupandehi for treatment.
