One dead, two injured during fishing trip with explosives

One person died while fishing with explosives in Palpa's Tinau Rural Municipality and two others were injured.

Deputy Superintendent of Police and Information Officer Sunil Malla of District Police Office Palpa informed that 28-year-old Suraj Somai, a local, died due to the explosion of explosives in Tinau-2, Dobhan Budhastak. Madan Somai of Budhasatak was injured when there was a sudden explosion while making explosives for fishing out of fish hooks in the yard behind his house. During his treatment, he died at Butwal Hospital Pvt. Rupandehi  The police said. 

District Police Office Palpalo said that 21-year-old Kosis Bhujel and 28-year-old Kushal Bhujel came to Madan Bahadur Somai's house on Thursday when the explosives exploded. They have been sent to Butwal Hospital for treatment. Police said that further investigations are being conducted into the incident.
