A motorcyclist died after being hit by a school bus in Deukhuri on Tuesday evening. District Police Office Bhaluwang has informed that the driver, Kishan Shahi, 20 years old from Bijauri, died when a school bus hit a motorcycle in Rapti Rural Municipality-8, Bijauri under the east-west highway.

According to the police, the motorcyclist Shahi died on the spot when the private school's bus numbered RA1K 1418 hit the motorcycle numbered RA5P 2601. Angry locals have blocked the Lamhi Bhaluwang road section of the East-West highway. A young man died when a cargo truck hit a motorcyclist on that road section on Monday evening.
