The second conference of Judicial Committee Coordination Network Rolpa has been organized in Liwang on Sunday.

The conference was organized with the participation and presence of officials of the local judicial committee formed at 10 levels of Rolpa. The deputy head of the municipality Geeta Acharya said that the conference was organized with the aim of making all the judicial committees equally active and that the conference would also be suitable for interaction. The first conference was organized by Sunil Smriti Rural Municipality last year in Sulichour. The participants in the

conference expressed their experience and opinion regarding the effectiveness and responsibility of the judicial committee formed at the local level. Sarita KC, vice president of Runtigadhi village council and coordinator of Runtigadhi local judicial committee, said that the work of judicial committee is important. 

Similarly, Dilkumari Gurung, Vice President of Lungri Rural Municipality and Coordinator of Local Judicial Committee, shared her experience of having to do judicial work while trying to learn the law. Meena Thapa, the vice president of Sunil Smriti Rural Municipality, said that she is happy to work with the people as a representative of the people to provide justice.

Judicial Committee Coordination Network Member Secretary and Legal Facilitator Advocate Ghanshyam Mahara said that the judicial committee formed at all levels is working in a surprising manner. Rolpa District Judge Vinod Khatiwada, the special guest of the conference, believed that the people would get justice in their homes through the responsible and successful work of all judicial committees.

He also asked the officials of the judicial committee to provide justice only within their limits. The chief guest of the conference, Surendra Ghartimagar, head of Rolpa municipality, said that it is a good arrangement for people's representatives to do judicial work after the formation of the new structure. In the

conference, the representatives of all judicial committees presented their progress reports. The third conference of the Judicial Committee Coordination Network will be organized by Parintar Rural Municipality next year.
